Q1:Who can have access to uHTS services?
A1: Anyone having a project approved and supported by NSC or Other agencies can apply for uHTS. This program is supported by NRPB, so we give service priority to the research projects of NRPB.

Q2 : How to arrange for a uHTS assay?
A2: As a new user, you need to fill in an account application first. Please have your project information ready when working on both the Account and Project application forms. Once approved, you will be granted access to Project and Assy Managements, where you can add new project and new assay requests. You might have several assays in one project.
Note: A project is a titled research subject; an assay is one of the jobs executed in the project.

Q3: What is the status of your compound? what is the final DMSO concentration?
A3: Our compounds are solubilized in 100% DMSO and reformated to be 1 mM stock in online 1536-well plate.

 
 
 
Micro-titer Plate Imager
 
The signal of a plate is read by the ViewLux imager. It is an ultra high-speed microplate imager, ideal for high throughput screening of compound libraries requiring the ultimate in speed, reliability and high quality data.
 
The ViewLux system features telecentric lens technology which maximizes light collection from the sample plate and increases sensitivity while decreasing parallax error that can result from wells being at different distances from the lens. Because the ViewLux imager generates both image and numerical data, it provides users with additional insight into their biology. Featured with the next generation of low-maintenance Peltier-cooled, CCD camera technology, the ViewLux imager eliminates the need for a cryogenic cooling system for more sensitive detection.
The system performs luminescence, fluorescence, time-resolved fluorescence, absorbance and fluorescence polarization which makes it perfectly suited to a wide variety of today’s fastest non-radioactive and radioactive assay technologies. The system shows excellent correlation between results from 384- and 1536-well plates, allowing easy assay miniaturization, and with the ability to read a 1536-well plate in 30 seconds, the system can manage throughputs in excess of 200,000 samples per hour under continuous operation. The ViewLux imager can also handle plates in a 3456-well format.
